Job Description

The Role

We are looking for an experienced individual to help us develop our busy pricing department. Duties will include.

  • Primarily working closely with the contracts management team at head office to manage quotations and client expectations
  • Processing a number of lower value high volume quoted works following on from maintenance visits
  • Processing ‘small works’ projects up to the value of around £30k
  • Support and unify our pricing structure to ensure continuity throughout the department
  • Seek the best value on the procurement of materials and plant for our business and the interests of our clients
  • Adjudication of sub-contractor and supplier quotations supporting the regional teams where required
  • Forming take-off’s and measures from drawings or field supplied data then compiling structured bills of quantities
  • Occasionally required to attend site and survey works or meet client

The Individual

  • Must have significant experience of 3 years or more in a similar role in the industry
  • Be a team member with the right attitude to contribute to the business and the work environment as a whole
  • Be ambitious and driven for personal and professional development
  • Will have to have good commercial awareness
  • Be proficient in Microsoft packages and have experience of web-based pricing

The position is full time and mainly office based

Salary is negotiable £25k upwards depending on experience and attributes
